Out of the Frame - International Theatre Forum and Conference
Out of the Frame is an event organized by our association with the intent of creating a meeting point for different theatre makers from our region and from abroad to start a dialog about the research of less institutionalized, alternative theatrical genres, with particular regard to open space genres (street theatre, interactive performances, community genres), furthermore, the analysis of what kind of role performing arts have in the periphery and on the lives of communities living in rural environments, and in a broader sense on the whole of society.
The event is called conference and forum because we wish to combine theory and practical knowledge throughout the different activities, creating an atmosphere which allows the participants to be an active part of the event, encouraging them to be open to meet with new people and opinions.
Out of the Frame will be organized every two years with a different central topic each year.
